What Bobby Link does — and does not do yet
Bobby Link is being built in the open, one governed phase at a time. This register states the true condition of every capability. Nothing here is marketing language for something that does not exist.
Governed short links
Built — disabledShort links on bobby.link with reserved-path protection, an explicit lifecycle of draft, active, paused, blocked and archived, and destination validation. Built and verified; creation and activation remain closed by governance.
Custom domains
Designed — not enabledYour own domain serving short links and holding pages, with an explicit verification lifecycle. Modelled, not enabled.
Coming soon pages
Designed — not enabledBranded holding pages for a domain that is not live yet, using a captured brand snapshot so a page never changes under you. Modelled, not enabled.
QR codes
Designed — not enabledQR codes generated from a governed link and aware of that link's target state. Modelled, not enabled.
Privacy-minimal counting
Built — disabledBobby Link counts delivered redirects. It does not record visitors, devices, referrers, IP addresses or locations, and probe requests are never counted.
Workspaces and membership
OperationalWorkspace ownership, registered legal identity, registered address, locale and time zone are governed today. Membership administration is modelled.
Google sign-in
OperationalGoogle is the only production sign-in method, on the canonical domain only.
Governed audit record
OperationalEvery governed command writes exactly one chained, append-only record, including refusals. Workspace members with audit authority and platform administrators can read the record; it never exposes another person's identifier.
API and MCP access
Designed — not enabledProgrammatic and agent access are deliberately closed. No credential can be issued.
